Like Diana and Charles

I loved you like Diana loved Charles

And you, you probably never loved me in my non existent way of understanding

Just like Diana’s lenses on Charles’ love

Nor Charles ever got Diana’s lost

We were both perfect in our little way of understanding on what matters and not

I properly loved you for my own mistake, and you properly ignored me for your own sake

But we were so in love, so in love

Or I thought we were

When nowadays I properly began to resent you, after all liquid filled nightmares of the forgotten chimes

I realised we were both pathetic

You were always smitten for indescribable measures

I was, am, always pathetic on romanticising heartbreak, just like a Shakespeare would

We were so in love

For you, it just ain’t matter no more

Or, it was never before?
